I've been battling with my PC for a few days now, with no success.
Basically, what is now happening is simply that when I try to play any sort
of video media, the media player locks, and when I am forced to end task,
the PC locks completely.
Curiously, VideoLAN will still play the file through once, with no sound,
but then falls over when it reaches the end and stops responding. WMP and
Real Player simply lock up as they try to open the file initially. This is
true of RM, wmv, avi & mpg's.
I'm running 98SE, with C-Media Sound Card
Any ideas? Anyone? PLEASE!!!
