How to save applied skin.

I am using WMP 10.
I like to use the "mini player" skin.
But every time I reboot I loose my skin and I have to re-apply.
How do I make it the default skin?

WMP stores its current skin data under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer - I'm guessing that somehow
you either have registry corruption here or a bad program has screwed up
your write permissions to this area of the registry...
