I downloaded 2 songs from the net and get:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to
play the file could not be found.
I use Windows Xp service pack 2--any suggestions?

What file format were they?

ive had same pron, i now use real player for any music
that is missing codecs

I recieved the same message while trying to play a movie
on Windows Media Player...Download DivX Player and you
should be able to play it from there.
